METHUEN, Mass. (June 23, 2004) - - Genesys, a provider of outsourcing services and software for human resources (HR) management, payroll, benefits, self-service, learning, and performance management, will host its annual Human Capital Management Conference, September 19-21, 2004, at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel and Towers in Boston. The event promises to provide attendees a rich opportunity to review and debate key issues in HR, payroll and benefits management and technology, and build new and expanded relationships with Genesys customers, partners and the business community.
"This year's three-day event is designed to bring Genesys customers, partners, industry experts, and business professionals together to share ideas, discuss trends affecting human capital management, and learn from one another's valuable experiences," said Larry Munini, president of Genesys. "This marks our 24th conference and we have added a number of excellent professional development and networking programs based on valuable feedback from previous attendees and our commitment to enhancing the conference agenda each year."
The conference theme, "Leading the way through innovation and transformation", will feature pre-conference workshops and more than 40 educational sessions focused on strategies, best practices, tools and processes to address today's HCM challenges. The sessions will cover a comprehensive range of topics including HR metrics, performance management, training and development, recruitment and retention, background verification, compensation, benefits, the latest legislation affecting HR interests, payroll practices, outsourcing, data integrity, work/life, and more. Additionally, the conference will include informative sessions on Genesys solutions, client success stories and roundtable discussions and presentations from industry thought leaders.
As part of the conference, there will be an exhibit hall where attendees can learn about the valuable resources available to improve the effectiveness of their organizations. And an "Ask the Experts" forum will be provided where Genesys clients will have access to private, half-hour consulting sessions on-site where they can ask business and IT-related questions.
Other organized events include a tour of Boston historic locations and an Adult Guest Program including an excursion to Boston's Historic North End where visitors will experience "Little Italy" like a native.
