Genesys' Larry Munini Shares Views on HRIS Outsourcing Trends and the Emergence of ASPs

Thirty-year HRMS-industry veteran will discuss Internet-age HRIS-outsourcing and ASP issues at HRIMS' 17th annual vendor fair in New York

METHUEN, Mass. — November 14, 2000 —Genesys, the Methuen, Mass.-based provider of outsourcing, ASP services and software for human resource management, payroll, and benefits, announced today that president Lawrence J. Munini has been invited to participate in the Human Resources Information Management Society's 17th annual vendor fair, "Management Systems for Human Resources," to be held Friday, December 1, 2000, at the New York Marriott Marquis. Munini will take part in a panel entitled "New and Emerging Trends in HRIS Outsourcing." The panel will cover Internet-age changes in human resources information systems, including the emergence of application service providers (ASPs).

According to Lisa Rowan, director of marketing for Genesys, "Since founding Genesys two decades ago, Larry Munini has been recognized as an industry leader. Under his guidance, Genesys has introduced a number of innovative products and services, including web-native HRMS software systems and ASP solutions. He brings a wealth of information and experience to the panel."

Scheduled to run from 9:30 to 11:00 A.M., the panel will be moderated by Thomas X. Ledger, vice president, HRIMS. Also taking part in the panel will be Markus Schneider, CEO of PerformanceBase.com; Joanne Wisniewski, director, strategic human resource outsourcing, for PricewaterhouseCoopers; and Luis Portiansky, marketing director of Fiserv HRIS/Humanic.

Munini Shares Decades of HRMS Experience

Throughout his 30 years in the industry, Larry Munini has applied technology to revolutionize human resource management systems and services. At Genesys, he is actively involved in the technological direction of the company's product and service offerings. He earned a BS in mathematics from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a MS degree in computer science from Case Institute of Technology.
