Genesys Appoints Seasoned Executive to Vice President, Consulting Services Hanninen Brings More Than 25 Years of Technology Experience to Further Drive Client Satisfaction and Retention METHUEN, Mass. (February 22, 2007) - - Genesys, a provider of Human Resource services and application software including Payroll (US and Canadian), HR and an array of Employee Benefit solutions and tax filing services to the mid-to-large market, today announced that Michael J. Hanninen was appointed to the position of Vice President, Consulting Services. In this position, Hanninen will have operational responsibility for all aspects of consulting services including client engagements, project management and custom design requirements. Hanninen will report directly to Ruth Ladner, COO of Genesys. During his career with Genesys, Hanninen has held the positions of Director of Software Development, Director of Strategic Systems and most recently Director of Consulting Services for which he had P & L responsibilities. Under Hanninen's direction, the Consulting Services division achieved an unsurpassed record of quarter-over-quarter revenue increases. Hanninen's diversified past experience also includes consulting, technical sales, business planning and corporate communications. Before joining Genesys, Hanninen managed technology groups for General Electric, Computer Associates and Nynex. Hanninen is an adjunct professor in computer systems at Franklin Pierce College and Bunker Hill Community College. He has presented at various industry tradeshows including Database and Client Server World, CUPA, NEHRA and IHRIM. He earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Lowell in Massachusetts.
