Genesys, a human resources management software provider in Methuen, has rolled out a new payroll tax filing service.
The Genesys Tax Filing Service collects and aggregates the tax data and monitors changes in tax regulations.
The service supports local, state and federal taxes in the United States and handles school district taxes and occupational privilege taxes for human resources departments.
“Many organizations are recognizing that the staffing required to keep up with changing tax regulations just isn’t an astute resource investment,” said Larry Munini, president of Genesys, in a release. “As a result, more and more organizations are looking to outsource tax filing and other non-core business functions.
Cost of the service varies and is determined by the number of tax jurisdictions, size of the payroll and number of federal identification numbers used by the customer.
The product announcement comes just one month after the company announced its PeopleComeFirst Healthcare Learning Advantage product, a Web-based learning management system for health care organizations.
