a provider of software and outsourcing services for human resource (HR)
management, payroll, benefits, and learning, today announced the
introduction of PeopleComeFirst Performance, a comprehensive solution
for managing enterprise-wide employee performance management.
PeopleComeFirst Performance provides a variety of employee
assessment templates and supports clients' unique templates. The solution
offers 360° and self-assessment tools; easy creation of position descriptions
and associated required competencies across departments or the entire
enterprise; skill gap assessment; the creation of detailed individual
employee development plans; flexibility for weighting goals and objectives,
as well as assessment results; the incorporation of management and peer
comments; and tracking and reporting of performance results and competency
assessments to meet any compliance requirement.
PeopleComeFirst Performance can be used independently as
a licensed or outsourced solution, or in conjunction with its companion product,
PeopleComeFirst Learning, to associate any type of training or learning
resource - along with assessment results - to specific employee development
plans. PeopleComeFirst Performance can be integrated with virtually any
learning management system or HR solution.
"Performance assessment and management is one of the l
ast frontiers in the HR space that is still highly paper intensive,"
said Debbie McGrath, founder and CEO of HR.com. "Most supervisors and
managers find performance management processes to be cumbersome,
while employees are often in the dark about goals and objectives
and their progress toward meeting them."
"We've worked with HR professionals for many years.
As a result of this experience, we designed PeopleComeFirst Performance
to address a common need frequently identified by our clients - for an
easy, cost efficient, and flexible way to manage and automate the
activities involved in the performance process," said Steven Munini,
director of advanced technology for Genesys and chief developer of
PeopleComeFirst Performance. "We believe the combination of
PeopleComeFirst Performance with PeopleComeFirst Learning is
unmatched in the market - for ease of use, adaptability, true
seamless integration, and broad functionality."
Genesys will take part in the Enterprise LMS/Performance
Management Shootout, conducted at the Online Learning Conference in
Los Angeles, September 22-24. PeopleComeFirst Performance will be
demonstrated in the conference exhibit hall on Monday, September 22,
from 12:30 to 1:15. The shootout will compare products on features
such as performance reviews, tracking of on-the-job training,
virtual mentoring, and succession planning.
Pricing for PeopleComeFirst Performance is
based on several factors, including number of employees,
contract duration, and whether the solution is installed
on site or managed by Genesys.
