Genesys Appoints New Director of HRO Services Brian Schiebel, Veteran Sales and Marketing Executive, Will Bring Comprehensive Service Offerings to Small and Mid-Sized Market METHUEN, Mass. — OCTOBER 21, 2003 — Genesys, a provider of software and outsourcing services for human resource (HR) management, payroll, benefits, learning, and performance management, today announced the appointment of Brian J. Schiebel to director of the company's HRO Services organization. Introduced in July 2003, PeopleComeFirst HRO Services encompasses all areas of human resources, including payroll and tax administration, employee benefits, HR administration, recruitment, training and development, and information management. Unlike other outsourcing offerings, PeopleComeFirst HRO Services is designed to meet the special needs of small to mid-sized companies. Before joining Genesys, Schiebel held executive level sales and marketing positions at Resinate Corp. and at a Professional Employer Organization (PEO), both located in Massachusetts. Schiebel's experience in the PEO industry included serving as an executive vice president of sales and marketing for a firm specializing in the provision of employee leasing services for small and mid-market firms. His expertise includes the outsourcing of HR management, payroll, business insurance, and employee benefits administration. Schiebel was also part of an executive team that led significant growth in revenue and profitability for a PEO that achieved recognition as one of the fastest growing, privately-held companies by INC. magazine. "Brian's extensive experience in working with HR organizations gives him the ability to 'hit the ground running,'" said Ruth Ladner, chief operations officer of Genesys.
