Department: Customer Service
Position: Software Implementation Consultant
General Accountability: Utilizing technical expertise and a strong knowledge of the Genesys product the Implementation Consultant will work with new clients to ensure a successful and high quality implementation. The Implementation Consultant will be primarily responsible for designing and building a system that meets the needs of the client while working to the milestones of a project plan. The Implementation Consultant will work closely with a project team.
Specific Accountabilities:
- Ensure a thorough understanding of customer expectations through meetings with sales
- Identify client requirements by conducting an in depth needs analysis with the client subject matter expert
- Present multiple solutions to ensure client satisfaction
- Map client requirements to the Genesys system
- Convert data, verify results, assist in assuring client sign off
- Identify and document adaptations that may be required
- Define and create required reports
- Define and create custom calculations
- Test the configured system
- Create and test interface files
- Conduct user training that includes application functionality as well as report writing
- Work with client to run parallel payrolls and validate the results
- Make modifications to the system set up as required
- Assist in the identification and escalation of issues that are out of scope
- Perform training and presentations to internal customers as a means of transferring knowledge within the organization
Qualifications/Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent and 1-3 years experience in payroll / human resources or systems integration / project management work.
- PC proficiency with experience using MS Office products.
- In addition to technical skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, client relations, time management, and project management skills are required.
- Technical skills in HTML or ASP preferred.
- To be successful in this position you must be a team player with the ability to work independently at times. You must be detail oriented while being extremely sensitive to critical timeframes, decisive yet flexible, and assertive without jeopardizing the client relationship.
