Genesys Customers are Featured Speakers at the 25th Annual Human Capital Management Conference

Conference Will Provide Forum for Sharing Best Practices, Debate and Discussion of Key Human Resource Issues and Topics

METHUEN, Mass. (July 25, 2005) - - Genesys, a provider of outsourcing services and software for human resources (HR) management, payroll, benefit administration and payments, self-service, learning, performance management, recruitment and time and attendance will host its annual Human Capital Management Conference, September 25-27, 2005, at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel and Towers in Boston. Genesys customers, partners and the general business community will convene to discuss and debate the latest human capital topics and trends.

This year's conference theme is, "Learn · Lead · Succeed", and the event will feature pre-conference workshops and more than 40 educational sessions focused on strategies, best practices, tools and processes to address today's HCM challenges. The sessions will cover a comprehensive range of topics including performance management, training and development, recruitment and retention, compensation, benefits, the latest legislation affecting HR interests, self-service, management practices, payroll practices, outsourcing, time and attendance, compliance, security and data integrity, the latest technology and more.

The Associate Self-Service Center at Trustmark - Turning the Goal into Reality

Trustmark will share their journey in providing web-based access to employees for different types of benefit enrollments and updates through the Genesys PeopleComeFirst Self-Service solution. This session will show how Trustmark is using self-service to enhance the products offered to associates while also improving HR efficiency, reducing paper flow and increasing accuracy with internal processing.

Somerford Corporation and Genesys

HR To Go - Looking at Outsourcing from Both Sides: A Vendor's and Buyer's Perspectives of Outsourcing for Mid-Sized Companies

This session will feature the considerations, planning, implementation, and management issues involved in outsourcing HR and other ancillary services. Somerford will present how to structure an evaluation process for effective decision-making, how to plan and train for an outsourcing implementation, and best practices for ongoing management. Genesys will discuss the features and characteristics of human capital services and also explain how HR outsourcing can elevate the role of HR management and assist in addressing strategic business objectives.

xwave (featuring the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador)

Planning for Self-Service - Taking It To The Next Level With Browser Technology

xwave, the outsourcing partner to the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador (GNL) will present their path taken and lessons learned in moving GNL to a distributed Microsoft Windows platform from a mainframe environment with an upgrade to Genesys PeopleComeFirst 6.1. They will also discuss installation of Genesys web technology and the resulting benefits with respect to ease of use of their payroll and human resource applications. A session highlight will include their upcoming plans for implementation of employee self-service functionality.

Delta Dental Plan of California

A Roadmap to Simplified Outsourced Tax Filing

Delta Dental will discuss why they determined a change was needed in the way the company processed their payroll taxes. They will focus on their move to an outsourced solution and their selection of the Genesys PeopleComeFirst Tax Filing service. In addition, Delta Dental will explain the ease in eliminating tax problems, smoothly transitioning with Genesys and utilizing reporting tools to simplify their tax processing.

Hillsborough County, Clerk of the Circuit Court

Take me to the Web: A Case Study on Employee and Manager Self-Service

In this session, Hillsborough County will review their use of the latest web-based technology from Genesys. They will discuss both manager and employee self-service and why an organization would want to incorporate web technology within their current infrastructure. In addition, they will present the steps to implement self-service, how self-service will improve customer service delivery along with the types of information instantly available to employees and managers.
